Air Conditioning

Good reasons for choosing TOSHIBA units

GOOD REASONS FOR CHOOSING TOSHIBA UNITS – the solution for commercial premises

TOSHIBA air conditioning systems combine many advantages in one unit: they can be used not only for cooling, but also for heating, dehumidifying and air filtration. In addition to versatility, the most decisive criterion is that the operating climate is improved. Did you know that performance is noticeably reduced at room temperatures above 24°C? At a temperature of 33°C it even drops below 50%. Too much humidity also affects the ability to concentrate. TOSHIBA air conditioning systems ensure an optimal room climate and prevent a drop in work performance due to heat.

COOLING AND COOLING: Maintaining performance

It is proven that on hot days, performance and concentration – in both physical and mental activities – are reduced. This also has a negative impact on work performance, which drops by up to 70%. In addition, all TOSHIBA systems are capable of heating, so that the office is kept at an ideal temperature between 19 and 25°C with a relative humidity between 40 and 70%.

DEDUCTION: Ensuring the quality of work

Moist indoor air damages both the health and the structure of the building. In a stuffy atmosphere, it is harder to breathe, the body is less resilient and employees are less efficient. In addition, high humidity promotes the formation of mould in rooms. Air conditioning systems dehumidify the air and regulate the relative humidity.

CLEANING: Health protection

In addition to general pollution from fine dust, pollen and spores, many building materials, wall paints, plastic objects and electrical appliances can release harmful substances into the air we breathe. The versatile, high-efficiency filters in TOSHIBA air conditioning systems can neutralise up to 99% of airborne impurities, contributing to preventive health protection.

VENTILATION: Maintaining a comfortable climate

With most split air conditioning systems, fresh air can be brought into the conditioned room through an additional fresh air inlet. This improves indoor air quality and ensures the comfort, well-being and performance of people.

VERSATILITY IN USE

The first-class air-conditioning system creates no draughts, is noiseless and operates smoothly and without malfunctions. Energy consumption does not exceed limits, and no aesthetic or technical constraints need to be accommodated in the planning.

VERSATILITY…

  1. For the operator

TOSHIBA systems can be connected to all common building management systems to tailor central control to your needs and ensure maximum efficiency. A wide network of partners is at your disposal from planning to maintenance.

  1. For the user

The air temperature in the room as well as the airflow from the TOSHIBA units can be individually and flexibly adjusted. The sophisticated internal units are almost inaudible. Easy handling of the remote controls ensures comfortable driving.

The innovative technology allows use in an outdoor temperature range from -25 to +52°C. This allows the system to be used in both cooling and heating mode.

TOSHIBA TECHNOLOGY BENEFITS

Inverter technology

The inverter air conditioner increases or decreases the room temperature by automatically changing the speed of the compressor. When the room is sufficiently cooled or heated as desired, the inverter automatically reduces the compressor speed. On the one hand, this saves energy and, on the other hand, reduces the degree of temperature fluctuation in the room. Thanks to the compressor speed control, the output is only as high as it needs to be. As the compressor does not have to be constantly switched on and off, the lifetime of the air conditioners is also extended. TOSHIBA was the first manufacturer to introduce inverter technology air conditioners in 1981. Since then, the technology has continued to evolve and improve.

*The TOSHIBA inverter control uses two different types of drive for the compressor: Either pulse width modulation (PWM; high efficiency) is used, in which part-load operation is very efficient, or pulse height modulation (PAM; high performance), in which the set desired temperature is quickly reached.

Quiet and long-lasting

The TOSHIBA double piston rotary compressor consists of two counter-rotating disks at the core. The resulting maximum mechanical stability with the lowest possible vibration guarantees quiet operation and long life of TOSHIBA units.

Constant temperature

The TOSHIBA inverter system regulates the modulation width permanently between 20 and 100% with its intelligent control. This maintains a constant temperature without constantly switching on and off.

Automatic mode change

If the desired temperature value is to be reached quickly, the PAM* mode is active – high power is required here. When the value is reached, it will be maintained with the minimum possible power consumption (PWM* mode).

Variable regulation

The speed of the compressor and thus the output of the device can be almost infinitely regulated in steps of 0.1 Hz. This enables precise settings and optimal energy utilisation.

Individual settings

Special modes such as. “Soff Cooling” or “Dual Setpoint”, guarantee unlimited comfort. It doesn’t matter if it’s Comfort or Efficiency: the TOSHIBA units are easy to operate.
