Gree DC inverter control with the latest G10 control technology
The inverter control (frequency converter) changes the compressor speed. The AC voltage from the mains is converted by the inverter to DC voltage. The compressor is operated by this DC voltage and frequency change. The compressor output is precisely matched to the room requirement. This avoids temperature fluctuations in the room and saves up to 40% of energy at the same time. Thanks to the latest Gree G10 inverter technology, the compressor speed can be reduced to very low speed and is controlled partly at 10Hz. This saves even more energy at part load.

Gree Double Rotary Piston Compressor
Two counter-rotating discs in two compressor chambers ensure the necessary refrigerant tightness. By counter-rotating the discs, this type of compressor has a very smooth operation, is extremely quiet, characterized by a long service life. Due to this fact, the rotating discs only have to overcome two positions between low and high coolant pressure. This technology allows very good control and slow running of the device. With this in mind, it is very important to allow the compressor to run as slowly as possible after commissioning, especially at the start of the installation (to even out the room temperature).

Winter operation

The built-in winter operation system in the outdoor unit allows cooling and heating during winter operation even at low outdoor temperatures.

  • Cooling down to -15°C outside temperature
    With this equipment it is possible to cool, for example, technical/IT areas that have to be constantly cooled even in winter.
  • Heating down to -15°C (-20°C) outside temperature
    With this equipment it is possible to temper and heat technical areas, halls or rooms very efficiently in winter.

I-Feel – comfort function

Usually, to regulate and measure the temperature of the air blown from the air conditioning unit, the ambient air temperature is measured at the air outlet of the indoor air conditioning unit, i.e. mainly at the height of the unit, approx. 2,2m. The I-Feel device has a remote control for increased comfort with a built-in temperature sensor. If the remote control of the air conditioner is located close to the user, the measured ambient temperature is regulated according to the user’s location of movement.

Self-cleaning function

With conventional air conditioners, mould can often occur on the inside of the heat exchanger during cooling mode. The reason for this phenomenon is the fact that the heat exchanger is still cool and damp after the air conditioner’s cooling cycle is turned off. This moisture allows mould to continually form. The self-cleaning function of this device ensures that after the cooling process has been switched off, another approx. 10 minute operation of the indoor unit fan, thus ensuring perfect drying of the built-in heat exchanger and thus actually preventing any further mould growth in the unit.

Silent mode function

The indoor air conditioning unit in question has a built-in low-speed fan and other additional devices that ensure a very low level of rotation, making this unit particularly quiet. For example, with the U-Cool wall-mounted unit, the indoor unit has a noise level of only 21dB(A)

Turbo function

The indoor unit’s fan runs at a very high speed, achieving cooling and heating efficiency to the desired room temperature much faster.

Night mode function

In cooling mode, the temperature is gradually reduced by a comfort curve and maintained continuously. In heating mode, the process is similar, characterised by a smooth flow.

Heating function 8°C

The value to which the room temperature is maintained in winter. With this function, air-conditioned rooms are protected against freezing in winter. With this function, significant energy savings are achieved due to the fact that this device is able to maintain a constant room temperature of 8°C.

Energy saving function

By activating this function, energy savings are guaranteed, as it is no longer possible to set extremely low and extremely high temperatures on the air conditioning unit.

Standby 1 Watt

An improvement of the platinum design of the device is that in standby mode, the power consumption is only 1 Watt.
