Refrigerated boxes and freezers are most often used for industrial storage of foodstuffs such as semi-finished products, dairy products, meat, fruit and vegetables, but also pharmaceuticals, flowers and so on. This means that they are particularly suitable for food processing plants, butcher shops, warehouses, restaurants, hotels, pharmaceutical warehouses or florists. However, many boxes are disassemblable and rebuildable, which is a great advantage.
Every cold storage and freezer box should be custom designed and delivered to meet the external (visual) and internal (technical) criteria of the customer, so it is important to choose a company that can expertly and comprehensively design the box you require.
However, when choosing a box it is important to pay attention to hygiene minimums or. standards, such as those set in Slovakia by the Office of Public Health and the State Veterinary and Food Administration. Before you ask for a box design, you should know in advance what product you will be storing and what temperature should be kept constant in the core of the product.
Examples of storage of goods:
When storing meat, you should use a cooler with a temperature set between +2°C and +4°C.
When storing flowers, you should use a cool box with a temperature set between +8°C and +10°C.
When storing dairy products such as ice cream, you should use a freezer box with a temperature set between -18°C and -25°C.
When storing medicines, you should use a freezer box with a temperature set between -35°C and -60°C.
Our company offers a variety of customized atypical boxes:
- With different temperature requirements (most often for refrigerated boxes it is +2°C to +4°C, for freezer boxes it is -18°C to -20°C)
- With different dimensions (most often for refrigerated boxes it is at least 1000mm x 2000mm x 2200mm, for freezer boxes it is 3000mm x 4000mm x 2200mm)
- With different types of doors (left, right, sliding, revolving or automatic)
- With different thicknesses of PUR panels (most often from 60mm to 100mm)
- With different rails
- With various necessary automation (aggregates, evaporators, switchboards, pressure switches, rods, washers, nuts, etc.)
- With various equipment (glazing, lighting)
PUR panel – sandwich panel
Our refrigerated and freezer boxes are made of PUR panels, in thicknesses corresponding to the required temperature in the refrigerated space. The PUR panel has a continuous core, which improves the aesthetic appearance of the box and eliminates heat loss (no joints or chips), better thermal insulation properties, greater flexibility and interesting profiled patterns on the surface of the lining. PUR panels are self-supporting for smaller and medium-sized boxes and therefore do not require additional support structures.
The procedure for the design and assembly of the box should be carried out in the following steps
- When requesting a quotation, the client receives a form in which it is obligatory to fill in information about the client and the goods. Our technical representative will go over the technology, additional information and drawing with you.
- Upon receipt of the completed form to calculate the necessary technology parameters, a quotation is prepared and the necessary dimensions and accessories are calculated using the software.
- After confirming the correctness of the calculation and agreeing on the quotation, we enter the required box into production.
- Distribution of the box and technology is possible to the relevant branch, on request also directly to the building site and then the box will be assembled and installed by the installation company. When requesting a quote for a consumer, the box is assembled by our company, when requesting a quote for a wholesale, the box is delivered by our company.
