Air purifiers for smog and cigarette smoke

The principle of air purifiers:
The air drawn from the intake grille passes through a metal pre-filter to trap the largest impurities and then through an electrostatic pre-filter through which a high voltage is passed. The electrostatic precipitator is composed of metal plates placed in front. Pollutant particles enter this device and are trapped by the metal plates up to 0.01 micron thick due to the electrostatic effect. The air continues its journey through an activated carbon filter that absorbs and traps odours. As soon as the cycle is over, negatively charged ions are released into the room, ensuring a healthy and comfortable environment.
